Tignes comprises of 5 villages: futuristic Val Claret, at the foot of the Grande Motte and the glacier funicular is the highest and arguably, the most popular, Le Lac, on the edge of the frozen lake is the largest, modern Le Lavachet lies just below Le Lac, Tignes les Boisses is a quiet hamlet at 1850m and Tignes Les Brevieres is the most charming at 1550m. Together with all the slopes of Val d’Isère, enjoy endless skiing and great off piste opportunities.
